Octagon’s Product Innovations Overview

In the company’s early history, Octagon invested in the development of technologies that would facilitate and automate our Regulatory Submission Services. As the company grew and expanded its offerings, our clients continued to ask how we managed the complex submission process for many simultaneous projects. We realized that our internal technologies had a commercial value and that’s when we launched ViewPoint^®, Octagon’s enterprise submission process management solution. ViewPoint has provided a platform on which we continue to build our holistic vision.

As we looked to provide efficiencies across the clinical and regulatory continuum, we focused our efforts on the drug development process, from data collection to submission. We acquired an EDC technology and began investing in the development and integration of feature sets to support data standardization and production of submission compliant output. This software product, ViewPoint^® FUSE is available today as a proven web-based electronic data capture technology that provides automation and accuracy in the data capture process.

Our software franchise continues to expand with additional integrated product and service offerings. Because industry is shifting toward process, data and submission standardization, we believe we are in a unique position to take advantage of technology innovations to provide significant breakthrough solutions that will change the way industry operates.
