OCTAGON RESEARCH SOLUTIONS, INC., ANNOUNCES THE APPOINTMENT OF MATT STROSCHEIN TO VICE PRESIDENT, REGULATORY OPERATIONS
Wayne, PA. -October 13, 2006 – CEO & Chairman Jim Walker of Octagon Research Solutions, Inc., a pioneer and leader in the electronic transformation of clinical R&D in the life sciences industry, today announced the appointment of Mr. Matt Stroschein to vice president, regulatory operations. In his expanded role, Mr. Stroschein will oversee Octagon’s Regulatory Operations team, the largest team of regulatory operations experts in the industry. In addition, Mr. Stroschein will direct the company’s electronic regulatory publishing activities, and provide strategic support for the further expansion of Octagon’s Regulatory Operations initiatives.
Mr. Stroschein joined Octagon in 2000 as manager, information technology and was Octagon’s fourth employee. During his tenure at Octagon, Mr. Stroschein managed the Regulatory Operations team, and electronic regulatory publishing projects while being directly responsible for project budgeting and set-up, proposal generation, process development, staffing of teams, facilitation of client relationships, and direction of project teams’ long-term and daily activities. Mr. Stroschien has also identified integration points between clinical, regulatory and publishing functions and currently serves as the executive sponsor responsible for technology integration within Octagon’s submission processes. His team has been instrumental in the development of Octagon’s enterprise submission management tool, ViewPoint®, as well as Octagon’s eCTD Viewer and eCTD Validator that assist in the optimization of complex cross-functional submission processes as well as the creation and management of electronic submissions in eCTD format.
