Octagon Research Solutions Announces Eric Valentine as new Vice President

Wayne, Pa. - March 30, 2006 - CEO & Chairman Jim Walker of Octagon Research Solutions, Inc. a pioneer and leader in the electronic transformation of clinical R&D in the life sciences industry, today announced the appointment of Mr. Eric Valentine to Vice President of it’s Clinical Data Operations division. In his new capacity, Mr. Valentine will oversee the entire Clinical Data Operations staff and direction as well as spearhead the company’s broader efforts to continue building on its leadership position in CDISC conversions and other clinical information workflow capabilities.
Mr. Valentine was most recently Global Commercial Director, Clinical Development Services at Covance, Inc. During his tenure Mr. Valentine executed all commercial aspects of the global Clinical Development business, including market assessments, business development support, and expanding the company’s presence in Asia Pacific, Eastern Europe and Latin America, as well as performing lead roles to establish and negotiate multi-million dollar strategic relationships with major pharmaceutical and biotech companies.
