Octagon Research Solutions Opens Boston Office as Local Biotechnology Demand for Electronic Submission Services Booms

Company Names Alex Hase to Launch Office as Vice President of Sales

KING OF PRUSSIA, PA July 3, 2003 - Octagon Research Solutions, a leading provider of regulatory, clinical information management, process, information technology products and services to the life sciences industry, announced today the opening of a regional office in Boston, Massachusetts. Octagon also appointed Mr. Alex Hase to head the new Boston office as vice president of sales. He will be responsible for directing sales efforts for Octagon’s suite of products and services designed to optimize the complex regulatory submission development process.

Mr. Hase joins Octagon from Netnumina Solutions in Cambridge, MA, where he built and managed a successful sales organization that focused on biopharmaceutical, healthcare and financial services sectors. His organization consistently sustained quarter over quarter growth, increasing revenue 100-300 percent annually.

Prior to joining Netnumina, Mr. Hase was a major accounts sales manager for the Eastern Region at New Horizons Computer Learning Center, establishing strategic relationships with Fortune 1000 companies and creating national and global training solutions for some of New Horizons’ largest corporate clients.
