JAMES C. WALKER RECEIVES GREATER PHILADELPHIA ERNST & YOUNG ENTREPRENEUR OF THE YEAR AWARD
KING OF PRUSSIA, PA - July 23, 2003 - Octagon Research Solutions, a leading provider of regulatory, clinical information management, process and information technology products and services to the life sciences industry, announced today that its President and CEO, James C. Walker, received the Greater Philadelphia Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award in the "Emerging" category. The award was presented by Mr. Stephen P. Crane, Ernst & Young's Philadelphia Area Leader/Emerging Growth Markets, at a recent celebration at the Philadelphia Marriott.

Ernst & Young created the Entrepreneur of the Year Award to recognize outstanding individuals on a regional, national and ultimately global level. All winners are selected by a panel of independent judges comprised of local community and business leaders.
