OCTAGON APPOINTS CHIEF ADMINISTRATION OFFICER AND CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
WAYNE, PA - March 9, 2005 - Octagon Research Solutions, the leader in the electronic transformation of clinical R&D, today announced two significant senior management appointments.
Robert LaClair, who previously served as Chief Financial Officer, is being appointed to the newly created position of Chief Administrative Officer. Simultaneously, the company is announcing the appointment of David DiFelice to the role of Chief Financial Officer.
Mr. LaClair, a five-year veteran of Octagon will be responsible for contract management, facilities and expansion planning and organization-wide administrative functions. Prior to his tenure at Octagon, Mr. LaClair held various financial and accounting positions including his most recent role as Company Controller and Operational Flow Manager for SL Waber, a multi-national manufacturing firm.
In his new role, Mr. DiFelice will be responsible for strategic financial planning, and directing the organization's overall financial policies. Prior to joining Octagon, Mr. DeFelice served as Chief Financial Officer for various companies including Assessment Systems, Inc. a Safeguard investment portfolio company.
