OCTAGON APPOINTS DAVE EVANS AS CHIEF INFORMATION OFFICER
WAYNE, PA - March 17, 2005 - Octagon Research Solutions, the leader in the electronic transformation of clinical R&D, today announced the appointment of David Evans as Chief Information Officer.
In his new role, Mr. Evans will be responsible for development and implementation of an enterprise information technology strategy across Octagon's various lines of business. He will manage corporate infrastructure including all new technology acquisitions and the organization's IT function.

Mr. Evans comes to Octagon with over twenty years of industry experience. He has held various executive positions including Chief Technology Officer & Executive Vice President of Operations, First Genetic Trust and Vice President, Corporate Development, Data Management and IT for CRC Premier Research. He was architect and developer of the first electronic submission to the FDA in 1985 and has been responsible for numerous electronic submissions and complex clinical data warehouses.
